At Nelson & Nelson, we started off originally known for our focus on personal injury related legal services. We now offer a full array of legal services to help serve the community.

Our firm began in 1919, when Seth H. Nelson opened a one-man law firm in Cardston, Alberta. Seth was known for his strong sense of honesty and kindness to his clients.

Seth practiced on Main Street in Cardston, Ab. Seth’s son, Brian H. Nelson, moved to Calgary and expanded the practice in Northwest Calgary in the early 1960s. He was the first Calgary lawyer to practice north of the Bow River. Brian continued his father’s strong sense of integrity and work within the community. He established a reputation of being a strong and successful advocate. Brian was later recognized for his contributions to the legal community when he was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1980.
